Join the Catholic Bishops in signing on to the Circle of Protection Statement

The United States Catholic Bishops have signed on to the Circle of Protection Statement that calls for a responsible budget and deficit policy that protects service programs for the poor and vulnerable members of society. Please visit the Circle of Protection website and add your voice to this moral message by signing on to the statement. Visit the Sojourners website to sign on and they will automatically send a message to your congressional representatives with the messge that you to have signed on to this all important message.

Earth and Spirit Center: Lent 4.5

The Passionist Earth and Spirit Center offers programs, talks and missions related to the ecological spirituality that is grounded on the eco-theology of Fr. Thomas Berry. They have church programs available for Lent. An exciting parish program has been developed for the lenten season called Lent 4.5 that offers an experience of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving in a way that has is integrated with the Catholic social principles of Solidarity, Common Good, and Care for the Earth.  Consider having your church use these resources this Lent.
